Overview

The Satex mobile application is operated by Victoria NYC I Inc., doing business as Satex. Throughout these Terms, the words " we ", " us " and " our " refer to Satex. By registering in the Satex application and providing your mobile phone number, you voluntarily and explicitly consent to receive SMS text messages for account security and verification purposes as described herein.

By providing your phone number and opting into our text messaging program, you consent to receive transactional security codes and account notifications on your mobile device. Standard message and data rates may apply. For assistance, reply HELP to any message you receive from us, or contact us at hi@satex.com or (844) 479-1908 . To stop receiving messages, reply STOP at any time. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service at any time. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of SMS features following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Section 1 – Opt-In: How You Give Consent

You provide your explicit opt-in consent to receive SMS messages from Satex by entering your mobile phone number on the account registration screen of the Satex mobile application and tapping "I Agree" (or equivalent confirmation) next to the statement: "By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS verification codes and security alerts from Satex. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."

Your opt-in consent is recorded at the time of registration, including a timestamp of your confirmation. We will store evidence of your consent and provide it to Twilio on request.

You confirm that:

• You are the owner of the provided phone number, or you have authorization from the phone number owner to receive these messages on their behalf;
• You are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction;
• You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service in full.

Section 2 – Purpose of Messages

Satex will send you SMS text messages only for the following essential transactional and account security purposes:

1. Two-factor authentication (2FA) codes for account login;
2. Account verification codes during registration;
3. Account verification codes for sensitive account changes;
4. Security alerts for unauthorized login attempts;
5. Password reset confirmation codes;
6. Account-related notifications required to operate the service.

These are time-sensitive, transactional messages critical for account security. These are not marketing, promotional, or advertising messages. You will not receive unsolicited commercial messages.

Section 3 – Message Frequency

You understand and acknowledge that:

• Messages will be sent only when necessary for account security and verification;
• Message frequency depends on your account activity (e.g., each login attempt requiring 2FA will trigger one message);
• You will not receive unsolicited marketing messages via SMS.

Section 4 – Standard Rates Apply

Standard message and data rates may apply. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your SMS plan and any applicable fees. Satex is not responsible for any charges billed to you by your carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Section 5 – How to Stop Messages (Opt-Out)

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from Satex at any time using any of the following methods:

• Reply STOP to any SMS message you receive from Satex;
• Email us at hi@satex.com with subject line "STOP SMS".

After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message that your opt-out has been processed. No further messages will be sent.

Important: Opting out of SMS messages may prevent you from using the following features of the application:

• Two-factor authentication (2FA);
• Password reset via SMS;
• Receipt of critical security alerts;
• Other account features dependent on SMS verification.

Section 6 – How to Get Help

For assistance with SMS messages, you may:

• Reply HELP to any SMS message you receive from Satex;

Section 7 – Data Privacy and Protection

Your phone number will be used only for the purposes stated in these Terms of Service. We will not sell, share, or lease your phone number to third parties. Your phone number may be stored for record-keeping and legal compliance purposes.

Your personal data, including your phone number, is protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy , which is incorporated herein by reference. We maintain industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure.

Section 8 – Limitation of Liability

Satex shall not be liable for any delays, failures, or errors in the delivery of SMS messages caused by your carrier, network conditions, or any other factors outside of our reasonable control. Delivery of SMS messages is not guaranteed and may vary depending on your carrier and location. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

In no event shall Satex, Victoria NYC I Inc., or their respective officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, SMS messaging services.

Section 9 – Your Full Agreement and Acknowledgment

By providing your mobile phone number and completing registration in the Satex application, you confirm that you:

• Have read this entire Agreement completely;
• Fully understand all terms and conditions;
• Explicitly consent to receive SMS messages as described herein;
• Accept all terms and conditions of this Agreement;
• Acknowledge that this constitutes a binding legal agreement.
